## challenge

Email clients haven't evolved. They're still just inboxes. The knowledge buried in emails (contacts, commitments, decisions) is lost unless you organize it by hand.

## solution

Built a Tauri 2 desktop app that's both email client and knowledge base. Rust backend for performance, Ollama for local AI processing. Emails become searchable knowledge, not just messages.

## outcome

Actively evolving. A desktop app that combines email with a knowledge base, all running locally for privacy.
